Many people remember the 1950s as a time of rock and roll, color televisions, Elvis Presley, The Korean War and civil rights. It was a time of change and this was reflected in the fashions for both men and women. The film Harvey (1950) starring James Stewart was one of the best comedies of the decade. Another classic film was An Affair to Remember (1957) starring Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant.
